Quinta das Hortênsias, based in Castanheira do Ribatejo, in the Municipality of Vila Franca de Xira, has as one of its objects the most important wine industry.

With about 70 hectares, was dedicated at the beginning of its activity mainly the production of table grapes. However, there are more than 9 years who did the conversion and restructuring of its vineyards to preduce grapes for high quality wines.
